Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From October through April, downtown San Antonio usually brings comfortable walking weather: warm afternoons in October and again in spring, mild days and cool to chilly evenings from December through February, when a passing cold front can drop nights into the 30s or 40s and occasionally below freezing, so bring a layer for The Saga. Spring and fall can bring short, heavy thunderstorms. From May through September afternoons are hot and humid, and stone plazas and pavement hold the heat, so start early and plan shade breaks. These are typical conditions, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast before you go.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
