Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

Late March and April in the Hill Country usually bring mild to warm afternoons, cool mornings and strong sun, often with a breeze. Spring is also storm season: fast-moving thunderstorms can bring lightning, hail and heavy rain, and low-water crossings can flood quickly. A cold front can make one day much cooler than the next. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
