Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

Late October and November at Pine Springs, about 5,700 feet up, usually bring sunny days with average highs from the low 70s °F in October to around 60 °F in November, and average lows from about 50 °F in October to about 40 °F in November. NPS says November through March is the windy season, with winds often over 30 mph and gusts of 50–80 mph, and the higher country is about 10 degrees cooler and windier. The canyon floor is shadier and cooler than the open desert. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
