Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

In March–May and October–November Houston is usually mild to warm and humid, with afternoons mostly in the 70s and 80s °F; cold fronts can bring a cool, dry day, and evenings near 50°F are possible early in March and late in November. Heavy thunderstorms can come in any season and can flood low trail sections along the bayou quickly; never walk or drive into floodwater, and watch for tropical systems from June through November. Shade is patchy on the trail between Allen's Landing and Sabine Street. June–September is hot and very humid, often in the 90s °F. These are typical conditions, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
