Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

In the best months, March–May and October–November, Fort Worth afternoons are usually warm and pleasant, with average highs from the upper 60s in March and November to the low 80s in May and early October, and evenings that cool off noticeably, especially after a cold front with gusty north winds. Spring is also the stormiest time of year, and thunderstorms with hail can disrupt the outdoor cattle drive. Summer afternoons are typically in the 90s, often the upper 90s or hotter in July and August, with little shade on the brick streets; winter days are cool to cold, with occasional freezes and ice. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast, carry water and bring a layer for the evening.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
