Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From October to April the Clear Lake area is usually mild: early October and late April can still be warm and humid with highs around 80°F, while midwinter highs are often in the 60s. Cold fronts can bring a cool, windy day in the 40s and 50s, and the open-air trams and the waterfront at Kemah feel colder in the wind, so bring a layer. Showers and thunderstorms can happen in any month, and lightning can pause the trams. Heavy rain can flood Houston-area roads and underpasses quickly; never drive through water on the road. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast before you go.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
