Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From June to August Providence is usually warm to hot and humid, with afternoon thunderstorms possible and long evenings for WaterFire. September and October bring mild days, cool nights and the occasional nor'easter with wind and heavy rain. By late October and November, evenings by the river are cold, often in the 40s °F or colder after dark. Winter days are short and can be icy on brick sidewalks. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
