Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

Central Massachusetts is usually mild and green from May to June, with some showery days. July and August are often warm and humid, with afternoon thunderstorms. From mid-September to October mornings turn crisp, the first frosts arrive, and foliage around Sturbridge usually colors in October. The Village's dirt roads turn muddy after heavy rain, and open fields feel cold in a fall wind. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
