Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From late May to August the lower Connecticut River valley is usually warm and often humid, and afternoon thunderstorms are common. September and early October usually bring mild, clear days and cool mornings, with fall color building through October. On the riverboat it feels cooler and windier than on shore, even in summer. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
