Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From late May to mid-October, Cape Ann is usually a few degrees cooler than Boston, with a steady sea breeze. Late spring and early summer bring fog that can sit on the coast all morning. July and August are warm and humid, with afternoon thunderstorms on some days. September and early October bring crisp, clear days, but they're also the season for remnants of tropical storms and early nor'easters, with high surf and strong wind at Halibut Point. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
