Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

September to November usually brings the clearest, warmest days on the Malibu coast, with the warmest ocean of the year and less of the morning marine layer that greys the coast from May to July. Fall and winter are also Santa Ana season, when hot, dry offshore winds bring Red Flag Warnings, fire risk and park closures. From November to March, Pacific storms bring rain, cooler days and the risk of mud and rockslides on PCH. Bluffs are windy and cooler than town. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast the evening before and the morning of your trip.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
