Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

In March to May and October to November, expect warm, often sunny days with highs mostly from the upper 60s to the low 80s, cooler mornings and a sea breeze on the beach that can feel chilly in the shade. Spring brings biting gnats on still days; fall is usually drier, though hurricane season runs to the end of November and a passing storm can close beaches or bring flooding to low roads. Summer is hot and humid, with frequent afternoon thunderstorms; winter is mild but short on daylight and can be windy and grey on the beach. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast before you go.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
