Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

From October through April, Savannah usually has mild to warm afternoons: average highs are around 78°F in October and April, 71°F in November and March, and the low 60s in December to February, with lows in the upper 30s to 50s. Winter is the driest season, though cold snaps happen, and the wind off the marsh at Cockspur Island can feel cooler than town. Very high tides, which come several times a year and often in fall, can flood low trails. Summer is hot and humid with afternoon thunderstorms and heavy mosquitoes. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.

A good day, in the bag.
