From November through April, Tampa Bay is usually mild to warm and drier, which suits a day of outdoor walking; winter cold fronts can bring chilly mornings and breezy days, so bring a layer. From late May to about mid-October the NWS describes the rainy season: highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s°F, dew points above 70°F, and showers and storms on most days, peaking July to early September. Hurricane season runs June through November, and tropical weather can change plans. Whatever the month, plan the most exposed walking early, carry water and a sun hat, and move indoors when lightning is near. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast before departure and follow local warnings.
