From late October to April, Central Florida is usually dry and pleasant, with highs mostly in the 70s and cool mornings that can drop into the 40s or 50s after a winter cold front. By May, highs reach around 90 and the first afternoon thunderstorms appear. From June into September, expect heat, humidity and almost daily afternoon storms with lightning, which can delay a boat ride and send you indoors; do the outdoor parts early. June through November is hurricane season. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.
