Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

In spring and fall, south-central Tennessee usually brings mild afternoons and cool mornings, with fall color in the hollows from mid-October and showers or thunderstorms in spring. Tims Ford's overlook trail is open to sun and wind, and tours spend part of their time outdoors and in unheated or hot warehouses. Summer is hot and humid with afternoon thunderstorms, and winter is mostly cool and damp with occasional ice. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.

Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.

A good day, in the bag.
