Plan for the conditions
Expected seasonal weather
From late May to September, Dearborn is usually warm to hot and often humid, with summer highs typically in the upper 70s to mid 80s°F and occasional hotter spells. Afternoon thunderstorms can pop up quickly, bringing lightning and heavy rain; head indoors when you hear thunder. Greenfield Village is almost entirely outdoors with patchy shade, so the afternoon there is the hottest part of the day, while the museum and Rouge theaters are air-conditioned and can feel cold. September usually brings milder, drier days and cooler evenings. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.
Admission and parking are separate. Check current conditions before departure.
