Plan for the conditions

Expected seasonal weather

In late September and October, Holmes County days are usually mild, with highs mostly in the 50s and 60s°F and cool mornings that can start in the 30s or 40s and the occasional early frost on clear nights. Fronts bring grey, showery days and wind, and fog can sit in the valleys early in the morning. Summer is warm and humid with afternoon thunderstorms; May and June are green and pleasant but can be wet. From November on, days turn cold and snow or ice can make the hilly back roads slick, with buggies still on them. These are seasonal expectations, not a forecast for your travel date; check the NWS forecast.

A good day, in the bag.
